Privacy Policy

This policy explains how GotMyTenants may collect, use, protect, and share information when landlords, tenants, and website visitors use the platform.

Last updated: 6 June 2026

1. Information we collect

We may collect account details, contact information, property details, tenant records, tenancy information, rent and expense records, maintenance reports, uploaded documents, messages, and payment status information.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide the GotMyTenants service, manage landlord and tenant workflows, process support requests, maintain security, track subscriptions, improve product features, and meet legal or operational requirements.

3. Landlord and tenant data

Landlords may add tenant information so tenants can use the tenant portal. Tenants may upload profile images, maintenance photos, messages, and tenancy-related information. This data is used to support the rental relationship within GotMyTenants.

4. Documents and uploaded files

Uploaded documents may include compliance certificates, tenancy documents, property photos, maintenance images, and identity or referencing information where applicable. Users should only upload information they are authorised to share.

5. Payments

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. GotMyTenants may store payment status, plan information, Stripe references, and subscription events, but card details are handled by Stripe.

6. Sharing information

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared between landlords and tenants where needed for the rental relationship, or with trusted providers that help us operate the platform, such as authentication, payment, hosting, and support services.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect information. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so users should keep login details private and report suspicious activity promptly.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain records, or support legitimate business purposes.

9. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to how your personal data is used. Contact us if you want to make a privacy request.

10. Contact
